If Floral Images is to create any sort of USP (there are loads of flower photo sites) one idea I have is to make it easy to find the flower you want. Hence the three indexes, by Latin name, English names and also by botanical family. The latter in particular is improved now and linked through from each image so other flowers of the same family can quickly be browsed.

The site expands

As I am now getting better at identifying wild flowers and I am noticing a whole lot of common ones that are nonetheless worthwhile the site is expanding fast.

This has lead to urgent work to tame the page sizes ! Download times even for modem users now more under control.

More sectioning as well - a new catagory for things that frankly are not flowers for instance.
