Usk Reservoir

I was very pleased last summer to get the offer to do some recording in this area from a botanist taking a holiday - and even more pleased when Jo sent me a very comprehensive list for the Brecknock part of the reservoir shore and surrounding land.

I had never yet even been there (nearby and Pont ar Wysg yes) so I thought I would take a winter look at the habitat and pictures follow. It was good to be able to recognise a few of the species recorded before winter set in but absolutely no pressure to record them which is great !
